- 3D model and detail design of a component taking into consideration the selection and application of materials and processes and the integration within the assembly.
- Evaluate the component against customer and regulatory specifications.
- Participate in the validation of the component (prototyping, test, DFMEA).
- Produce drawings for part manufacture.
- Analyse cost and weight.
- Participate in a Design Review.
